September 2011 - Prof. Herman P. Spaink of the Institute of Biology (IBL) received funding from the Leiden University Fund (LUF) to screen for new drugs
for treatment of tuberculosis. The LUF subsidy for further development of robotic technology for high-throughput drug screening was possible thanks to donations from Leiden University alumni.
